About Marnie Clark

Marnie Clark

Greetings from Marnie Clark I trained at The Maryland Institute College of Art, now recognized as MICA. I graduated with a BA in Illustration in 1969, before computers. I did work most of my adult life as a graphic artist, first for the Board of Education, then IITRI, and finally for Johns Hopkins University/ APL Physics Department. I retired in 2010. It was not until 2016 that I went back to my roots and began to paint in watercolors. My first efforts were Christmas presents to everyone in my family. When Covid hit, I challenged myself to draw every day, which turned into a beautiful business of drawing pets. My mediums include pencil, ink, and watercolor sticks for sketches.
